At SAINT JAMES Shop, we deliver our premium spirits collection with the same care and attention we devote to selecting them. Here’s what you need to know about our shipping process:
Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
- Standard Shipping (GBP 12.95): Delivered via DHL or FedEx within 10-15 business days after dispatch
- Free Shipping (Orders over GBP 50): Delivered via EMS within 15-25 business days after dispatch
Please note: We currently cannot ship to certain Asian countries and remote regions due to customs restrictions. Delivery times may vary depending on customs clearance in your country.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from our curated collection of premium spirits. Should you need to return an item, please review our policy below.
Eligible for Return
We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most products, provided they meet the following conditions:
- Unopened with original seals intact
- In original packaging with all protective materials
- In perfect, resalable condition
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of our products and alcohol regulations, we cannot accept returns of:
- Opened bottles of spirits (including brandy, liqueur, rum, vodka, and whisky)
- Products with broken seals
- Items showing signs of tampering
Important: For safety and legal compliance, all returned alcohol products must have their original seals intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns that don’t meet our standards.
Return Process
- Initiate Your Return: Email our specialists at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and reason for return.
- Await Authorization: Our Liverpool-based team will review your request within 2 business days and provide return instructions if approved.
- Package Securely: Repack the item(s) in their original packaging with all protective materials.
- Ship Your Return: Send the package to our address at 73 Houghton St, Liverpool, GB L1Q 1VG using a tracked shipping method. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
- Inspection & Processing: Upon receipt, we’ll inspect the returned items within 3-5 business days.
Refund Timeline & Methods
Once your return is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 5 business days after we receive and inspect your return
- Your refund will be credited to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution
Exchange Process
For exchanges (subject to availability):
- Follow the standard return process above
- Specify your desired replacement item in your return request
- Once we receive your return, we’ll ship the replacement item
- Any price differences will be charged or refunded accordingly
- Standard shipping rates apply for exchanged items unless the original shipment was incorrect or damaged
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged item or incorrect product:
- Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damaged/incorrect item
- We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you
- In some cases, we may ask you to return the item using a prepaid shipping label
International Returns
For clients outside the UK:
- You are responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable customs duties
- We recommend using a tracked shipping service with insurance
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
- Refunds will be processed in GBP; exchange rates may affect the final amount
